Sacred Heart-Griffin has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jacksonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cyclones are taking a road trip to take on the Crimsons at 4:30 p.m. Sacred Heart-Griffin's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Jacksonville's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Sacred Heart-Griffin came out on top against Tri-Valley on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run third inning. The Cyclones walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cyclones.

Meanwhile, Jacksonville fell victim to Athens and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 27 runs in the game before, the Crimsons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

The win got Sacred Heart-Griffin back to even at 7-7. As for Jacksonville, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-9-1 record.

Sacred Heart-Griffin came out on top in a nail-biter against Jacksonville when the teams last played back in April of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
