Volleyball Recap: Billerica Memorial Comes Up Short

Billerica Memorial was the 3-1 winner over Andover when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell 3-1 to the Golden Warriors on Wednesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-27, 25-17, 25-18.

Kendra Marino paced Billerica Memorial's offense, picking up six kills. Marino got some help from Meghan Downs and her 17 assists. Emma Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Among those leading the charge was Ella Niles, who had six digs and five aces. Those five aces gave her a new career-high.

Billerica Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Andover, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
