Baseball Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Granada Bobcats

The Eads Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Granada Bobcats at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Eads will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Eads' pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Stratton. The result was nothing new for Eads, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

The team relied heavily on Spencer Uhland, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Jayson Bletzacker was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Granada challenged Holly on Tuesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 19-4. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Eads' victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team's won by an average of 9.1 runs thus far. As for Granada, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.
