Lafayette put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Sunday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Webster Groves Statesmen a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Lancers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Sunday's blowout was nothing new.

Lafayette is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.4 runs over those games. As for Webster Groves, they dropped their record down to 8-18 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will take on Kirkwood at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Webster Groves, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hillsboro at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
