After a string of four wins, Spanish River's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Park Vista Cobras by a score of 3-2. The Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Cobras earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Aidan Litten and Gavin Karapetian scored both of Spanish River's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Spanish River's loss dropped their record down to 6-5-2. As for Park Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.

Spanish River will challenge Palm Beach Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Park Vista has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against FAU High on the 9th.
