Softball Recap: Lynn Takes a Loss

Lynn lost against Cordova back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bears took an 11-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Alli Dutton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs. Amy Barton was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lynn's loss dropped their record down to 16-12-2. As for Cordova, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-13 record this season.

Lynn didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 6-5 defeat against Carbon Hill on the 19th. As for Cordova, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Haleyville on the 19th.
