Volleyball Recap: Lubbock-Cooper Takes a Loss

If Lubbock-Cooper was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lubbock on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pirates came up short against the Tascosa Rebels on Friday, falling 3-0. The Pirates have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-13.

Lubbock-Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 22-11. As for Tascosa, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lubbock-Cooper will take on rival Monterey at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Tascosa is set to face off against their familiar foe Palo Duro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
