Georgia and Indiana powers will come to Columbus to take on Ohio teams in one of the nation's top gatherings.

The schedule for the Herbstreit National Kickoff Classic is out, and it'll all end with a pair of out-of-state battles on the Ohio State campus in Columbus.

Camden County (Kingsland, Ga.) will come north with its Wing-T offense to take on the prolific Glenville (Cleveland) offense at noon on Sept. 5, a Monday. Following that contest, defending Indiana 4A champion Indianapolis Cathedral will bash helmets with Centerville (Ohio) at 4 p.m. Centerville is Herbstreit's alma mater.

The early contest is scheduled to be televised on ESPN.

On Sept. 4, a Sunday, it'll be a pair of intrastate Ohio battles. St. Xavier (Cincinnati) will take on Pickerington Central (Ohio) at noon and then Upper Arlington (Columbus, Ohio) will face off against Springfield (Ohio) at 3:30 p.m. Pickerington Central won last year 36-20 over Oscar F. Smith of Virginia.

ESPNU will televise all games except the Camden County vs. Glenville game. It should be noted that game times can change.

Tickets are not available yet but will be sold through individual schools and at the gate.

Last year, Glenville stunned Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.) 26-22 on a late touchdown, Westerville South bested Dublin Coffman 31-21 and McKinley of Canton blanked Huber Heights Wayne 26-0.

Organizers were able to get teams from the Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus and Cleveland areas to participate this season, touching upon most of the major cities in the state.

The lineup for the Texas portion of the event, which will involve four games being played on Sept. 5, is still being finalized.
