Soccer Recap: Toll Gate Comes Up Short

If Toll Gate was feeling good fresh off their 4-0 takedown of West Warwick on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans fell just short of the North Providence Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Toll Gate couldn't quite close it out.

Sophia Politelli and Nicole Molina scored both of Toll Gate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Toll Gate now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for North Providence, they now have a winning record of 1-0-1.

Looking ahead, Toll Gate will head out to face off against East Providence at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. North Providence will be paying especially close attention to the Titans' game: after the Titans face off against the Townies, they'll take on North Providence again at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
