Basketball Recap: Marshall Comes Up Short

Marshall lost to Ardmore last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bears took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marshall's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Ardmore, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-17.

Coming up, Marshall will venture away from home to face off against Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Royals have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Ardmore, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 37-33 victory against Varsity Opponent on the 16th.
