Discovery wins going away against Lake Gibson

The Discovery Spartans waltzed into Wednesday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 74-56 win over Lake Gibson. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Discovery's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucson Jean led the charge by scoring 21 points. Willie Wilson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 9 rebounds.

Discovery's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Lake Gibson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
