Baseball Recap: Munroe Comes Up Short

Munroe came into this matchup off a tough 20-run defeat last Thursday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the L.E.A.D. Academy Lions by a score of 11-9 on Friday. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Munroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Munroe will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Vernon at 3:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for L.E.A.D. Academy, they will be playing at home against Gulf Pointe Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
