Baseball Recap: Irving Comes Up Short

Irving lost against Nimitz back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 4-3. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Julian Alcala was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Irving's record is now 4-14-1. As for Nimitz, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

While Irving had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
