Basketball Recap: Gallia Academy Comes Up Short

Gallia Academy lost against Jackson back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Gallia Academy Blue Devils took a 56-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 396th, while the Ironman/Ironladies are ranked 155th).

Gallia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Jackson, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-5.

Coming up, Gallia Academy will head out on the road to face off against Circleville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jackson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
