Volleyball Recap: Hurricane Falls Despite Big Games from Haven Williams and Eliza Watts

After flying high against North Sevier on Saturday, Hurricane came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the North Sanpete Hawks on Saturday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Despite the loss, Hurricane had strong showings from Eliza Watts, who had 12 digs, and Haven Williams, who had six digs.

Hurricane now has a losing record of 2-3. As for North Sanpete, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hurricane will welcome Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Sanpete, they will be playing at home against Payson at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
