After a string of three wins, St. Pauls' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. Their rough 71-49 defeat to Fairmont might stick with them for a while.
The losing side was boosted by Tykeem Oxendine, who scored 22 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Tyson Thompson was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds and three blocks.
Meanwhile, West Bladen waltzed into their match on Tuesday with 15 straight wins but they left with 16. They walked away with a 41-34 victory over Midway.
St. Pauls now has a losing record at 10-11. As for West Bladen, their victory was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-1.
