Bridgman is a perfect 3-0 against Decatur since June of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bees will be playing at home against the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Bridgman got the win against Watervliet by a conclusive 12-4.

Meanwhile, Decatur got themselves on the board against Lawrence on Tuesday, but Lawrence never followed suit. They blew past the Tigers 11-0. The victory was nothing new for the Raiders as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Decatur let Gracie Smith and Sienna Potter run wild. Smith went a perfect 2-for-2 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one double, while Potter got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jenna Bradford, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one double.

Decatur always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an OBP of .500 or higher in seven consecutive matches.

Decatur pushed their record up to 8-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Bridgman, their win bumped their record up to 5-2-1.

Bridgman took their victory against Decatur when the teams last played back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Bees repeat their success, or do the Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
