Football Recap: Troy Christian Takes a Loss

Troy Christian lost against Miami East back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles took a blow against the Vikings, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 670th, while the Vikings are ranked 268th).

Troy Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Miami East, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Troy Christian will face off against rival Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Miami East is set to challenge their familiar foe Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
