Softball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Malvern's Winning Streak

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Malvern finally came back down to earth on Monday. They lost 15-1 to the Nashville Scrappers. Surprisingly, this marked the seventh straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Malvern saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Watson, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

The loss snapped Malvern's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 12-5 record. As for Nashville, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.

Malvern will venture away from home to square off against ESTEM at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nashville, they will host Hope at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bobcats will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Scrappers surely won't give up without a fight.
