Volleyball Recap: Regis Groff Extends Winning Streak to Three

Regis Groff had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the DMLK Panthers 3-0. The Fusion have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

Regis Groff was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-19.

Daisha Gordon paced Regis Groff's offense, picking up 11 kills. Gordon got some help from Brenda Bangala and her 17 assists. Bangala was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Regis Groff now has a winning record of 9-8. As for DMLK, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Regis Groff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Denver West on the 9th. As for DMLK, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Kennedy on the 10th.
