Recap: Western Hills Cougars vs. Dunbar Wildcats
The Western Hills Cougars lost against the Dunbar Wildcats back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Western Hills was outmatched by Dunbar at home and fell 51-18. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Western Hills in their matchups with Dunbar: they've now lost seven in a row.
It was another big night for Dallas Henry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 assists for Dunbar. The matchup was Henry's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan McIntosh, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Western Hills' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-12. As for Dunbar, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.
Western Hills will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Eastern Hills at 6:00 p.m. Eastern Hills is looking to tack on another W to their five-game streak on the road. As for Dunbar, they will challenge Diamond Hill-Jarvis at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Diamond Hill-Jarvis comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
