After a string of five wins, Queen Creek's good fortune finally ran out on Sunday. They fell 2-0 to the Cactus Shadows Falcons.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14.

Jaxon Wold paced Queen Creek's offense, picking up three kills. Wold got some help from Lukas DeWitt and his eight assists.

Queen Creek's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Cactus Shadows, their win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-8.
