Baseball Recap: Granger Comes Up Short

Granger fell victim to Bartlett and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 7-0. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 14-1.

Granger's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-10. As for Bartlett, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Granger will take on Harper at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions are facing the Longhorns at the right time seeing as the Longhorns are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bartlett, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-4 win against Goldthwaite on the 1st.
