Baseball Recap: Technology Takes a Loss

The Technology Titans came up short against the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans on Friday and fell 7-3. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Damian Padilla put in work no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Padilla was also solid in the batter's box, earning one run and three stolen bases.

Padilla wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Luca Reidy, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Reidy is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Yousef Khoury also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Technology's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Technology will venture away from home to take on Willits at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they will challenge Laytonville at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
