Volleyball Recap: Wesson Takes a Loss

Wesson suffered their biggest defeat since August 26th on Tuesday. They lost 3-0 to the Loyd Star Hornets. The loss continues a trend for the Cobras in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost three in a row.

Wesson's defeat dropped their record down to 12-9. As for Loyd Star, the victory (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

After both having extra time off, Wesson and Wilkinson County will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Loyd Star, they will head out to face off against Hazlehurst at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
