Volleyball Recap: Prospect Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Prospect was the 3-1 winner over Gilroy when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2 on Thursday.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Prospect sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-11, 18-25, 25-15, 18-25, 25-13.

Despite the loss, Prospect still got an impressive performance from Naaliyah Yap, who had 23 digs and two aces. Yap has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bella Gutierrez had a dynamite game For Gilroy., getting 17 digs and five assists.

Prospect dropped their record down to 11-10 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Gilroy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-11.
