Volleyball Game Preview: North Iowa Bison vs. Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears

North Iowa and Bishop Garrigan are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Bison will head out to take on the Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Garrigan took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Iowa, who comes in off a win.

North Iowa barely beat Belmond-Klemme the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bison put the hurt on the Broncos with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bison have posted against the Broncos since September 11, 2018.

Meanwhile, Bishop Garrigan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of St. Mary's.

Bishop Garrigan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for North Iowa, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

North Iowa was able to grind out a solid win over Bishop Garrigan in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, winning 2-0. Will the Bison repeat their success, or do the Golden Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
