While Riverton's victory against Herriman wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Silverwolves narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mustangs 8-7. The victory continues a trend for the Silverwolves in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Bryce Mounteer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two runs. Landon Park also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Riverton's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Herriman, they dropped their record down to 8-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
