Manning Amorde Game Report: vs Shelby County

UMS-Wright Prep had to settle for second on Friday, but Manning Amorde sure wasn't going down easily. Amorde went 1-for-4 with one RBI. The effort also marked the fewest walks (three) he has had since back in February of 2024. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five).

Looking ahead, Amorde and UMS-Wright Prep will head out on the road to challenge Faith Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Faith Academy will enter the matchup having just beaten Marbury, so UMS-Wright Prep will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
