Basketball Recap: Bridgeport Bulls vs. Decatur Eagles

Bridgeport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Decatur Eagles, falling 79-57. While losing is never fun, the Bulls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 843rd, while the Eagles are ranked 197th).

It was another big night for Javen Colbert, who went 10-for-18 from beyond the arc to rack up 44 points and four steals for Decatur. The contest was Colbert's 14th in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adan Gonzalez, who posted 11 points in addition to five assists and three steals.
