The Paxton Bobcats had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19.7 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-42 victory over Central. That's another feather in the cap for Paxton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The game was Adams' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Liam Sadler, who scored four points.
Paxton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. As for Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-4.
Paxton won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Florala at 7:00 p.m. on January 5th. Florala is on a five-game streak of home wins, Paxton a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Central will take on Destin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Traiton Mauffray and Kaden Ellison.
