Softball Preview: Marshall Eagles vs. South El Monte Eagles
Marshall hasn't had much luck against South El Monte recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Marshall will host South El Monte at 3:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Marshall is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 18th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They lost 28-15 to Palmdale.
Meanwhile, South El Monte came tearing into Monday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum.
