They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 19-18 to the EPIC Academy The Legends. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the The Legends apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead EPIC Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mariah Clark, who scored 11 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Clark has scored at least a third of EPIC Academy's points.
Richards' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for EPIC Academy, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Richards will head out on the road to square off against Gage Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
