Josh Nichols Game Report: vs Madison

While Owen might've come up empty on Tuesday, Josh Nichols wasn't going down without a fight. Nichols tossed 3.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) he has had since back in March.

Even though Nichols couldn't lead Owen over Madison, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Warhorses haven't beaten the Patriots recently, having gone 0-10 since April of 2019.
