Baseball Recap: Clarksburg Takes a Loss

Clarksburg fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Liberty Tech Magnet on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 7-4 to the Crusaders. The Rockets just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Clarksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Liberty Tech Magnet, their victory ended a 20-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10.

Coming up, Clarksburg will venture away from home to square off against Humboldt at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Liberty Tech Magnet, they will be playing at home against Adamsville at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
