Recap: Dora Bulldogs vs. Oak Grove Tigers
The Dora Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They breezed by Oak Grove on the road to the tune of 76-47. With that victory, Dora brought their scoring average up to 50.8 points per game.
Leading Dora to victory were Josh Williams and Camdan Hines. Williams scored 13 points along with nine rebounds and six assists, while Hines scored 17 points along with three steals. Hines has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Collin Abrom was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with four steals.
Dora's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Oak Grove, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dora will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Fultondale at 1:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Fultondale presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dora in Alabama (Fultondale is ranked 118th, while Dora is ranked 311th). As for Oak Grove, they will head out on the road to take on Cordova at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
