Softball Recap: Vernon Comes Up Short

Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They came up short against the Holliday Eagles, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-0 last Tuesday.

Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Holliday, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-7-1.

Vernon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Holliday, they will square off against Bowie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
