Softball Recap: West St. John Takes a Loss

West St. John had taken White Castle down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Rams lost 21-4 to the Bulldogs. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

West St. John has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season. As for White Castle, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, West St. John will face off against Crescent City Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for White Castle, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 21-2 defeat against Plaquemine on the 9th.
