Mountain Ridge put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs. The six-run effort marked the Sentinels' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Sydney Lambert spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on one hit and racked up 15 Ks. Those 15 strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

At the plate, Avery Rawlins and Kelli Christiansen did most of the damage at the plate: Rawlins scored two runs while going 2-for-3, while Christiansen scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hanna Lino, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double and one RBI.

Mountain Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Crimson Cliffs, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Mountain Ridge will take on Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.6 runs per game this season. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will square off against Spanish Fork at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
