Basketball Game Preview: Twiggs County Cobras vs. Glascock County Panthers

Twiggs County hasn't had much luck against Glascock County recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Twiggs County Cobras are taking a road trip to face off against the Glascock County Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Twiggs County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Twiggs County turned things around against Georgia Military College on Tuesday. They secured a 39-34 W over the Bulldogs.

Meanwhile, Glascock County didn't have too much trouble with Wilkinson County on Tuesday as they won 62-48.

Twiggs County's win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-13. As for Glascock County, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Twiggs County was taken down by Glascock County 48-12 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point Twiggs County was down 34-4.
