Basketball Recap: Cache Has No Trouble Against Clinton

Cache won against Tuttle last Friday with 53 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Cache Bulldogs were the clear victor by a 53-32 margin over the Clinton Red Tornadoes. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Cache has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-11 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Clinton, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Cache and Clinton could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Cache will take on Kingfisher at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th down 158 places (304 vs. 146). Similarly, Clinton (ranked 290th) will meet Cashion (ranked 75th) at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
