The Mountain View Christian Academy Conquerors lost against the Massanutten Military Academy Colonels back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Mountain View Christian Academy took a hard 43-25 fall against Massanutten Military Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Mountain View Christian Academy has scored all season.
Devin Michael and Gaven Vaughn certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Michael scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while Vaughn scored five points. The match was Michael's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Even though they lost, Mountain View Christian Academy were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Mountain View Christian Academy bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Massanutten Military Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-5.
Mountain View Christian Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Paw Paw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Massanutten Military Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wakefield Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024. Hopefully Wakefield Country Day focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday.
