Baseball Game Preview: Randolph School Raiders vs. Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats

For the second straight game, Randolph School will face off against Westminster Christian Academy. The Raiders will host the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Randolph School turned things around against Westminster Christian Academy on Tuesday. They walked away with a 9-5 victory over the Wildcats. The game was the first time the Raiders have beaten the Wildcats on their field since April 15, 2021.

For Westminster Christian Academy's part, Trey Perkins was huge no matter where he played even without the win. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up six earned (and three unearned) runs off ten hits (and only one walk). The dominant performance also gave Perkins a new career-low in walks (one). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Perkins wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Cooper Rentz, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI.

Westminster Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Randolph School, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
