Person and Swansboro squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Person had to settle for second. They took a blow against the Swansboro Pirates, falling 75-43. The Rockets' loss signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Swansboro was led to victory by Tayvion Tangiora and Jermaine Cunningham. Tangiora dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 rebounds, while Cunningham went 8-for-17 on his way to 16 points along with eight assists and five boards. What's more, Tangiora also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Jonah Holt, who posted ten points and six boards.

Person's defeat dropped their record down to 28-3. As for Swansboro, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-1.
