Two dominant guards in Najiha Allen and Jasmine Nivar are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Overhills Jaguars will challenge the Apex Friendship Patriots on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Overhills is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They breezed past Corinth Holders to the tune of 79-33. The victory was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on seven straight.

It was another big night for Allen, who on her way to 32 points along with five assists and five rebounds. She also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Overhills is 16-2 when she posts at least three steals, but 3-6 otherwise. Paris Autry was another key player, to rack up 20 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Meanwhile, Apex Friendship waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They blew past the Screaming Eagle 64-39.

Apex Friendship pushed their record up to 24-4 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points over those games. As for Overhills, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.
