Baseball Recap: Falls City Takes a Loss

Falls City and Shiner squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Falls City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Comanches, falling 12-0. Considering the last time the Beavers couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Falls City's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Shiner, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Shiner beat Falls City by a score of 7-1 later that day.
