Jackson entered their tilt with Stanwood on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Spartans 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Timberwolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jackson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Quinten Johns, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Jackson's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Stanwood, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jackson will take on Cascade at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Timberwolves are facing the Bruins at the right time seeing as the Bruins are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Stanwood, they will face off against Othello at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight.
