It's playoff time, and Lake Nona had no trouble coming through when it counted. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Lake Nona Lions who were credited with the victory on Monday. The Lake Nona Lions got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to the Doral Academy Firebirds's two. The win was familiar territory for the Lions, who have now won four matches in a row.

Moa Silva and Arthur Maranhao scored all three of Lake Nona's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Lake Nona's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Doral Academy, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-8.

As of now, neither Lake Nona nor Doral Academy have any future games scheduled.
