Soccer Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy managed to keep up with Sierra Vista until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Longhorns came up short against the Mountain Lions, falling 3-0. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, Legacy's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Sierra Vista, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Legacy will head out to face off against Palo Verde at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Legacy will need to watch out since Palo Verde have now posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season. As for Sierra Vista, they are taking a road trip to square off against Spring Valley at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
