Basketball Recap: Linville Hill Takes Down Constitution in a Playoff Battle

Linville Hill had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 66-52 victory over the Constitution Generals on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.

Linville Hill's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Stephen Smucker led the charge by dropping a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds. That's the most points Smucker has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jerome Stoltzfus, who put up 12 points and eight boards.

Linville Hill's win bumped their record up to 26-3. As for Constitution, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 18-11 record.

Linville Hill wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 75-63 victory against Old Forge on the 15th. Constitution does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
